Course 1 provides a basis for understanding alignment procedures. It explains steering and suspension components along with describing the basic alignment angles such as camber, caster, toe, and thrust angle. Tires and wheels along with ride height and frame angle are also covered. This course is recommended before proceeding to Course 2-Basic Alignment Procedures and Diagnosis. Each course can usually be completed in 1-3 hours depending on the student’s level of expertise. A certificate of completion is available and can be printed at the end of the course.
